سنگین‌ترین شکست سیمرغ در لیگ برتر افغانستان روشن
اولین مسابقه هیجان‌انگیز از مرحله نیمه‌نهایی لیگ برتر افغانستان روشن ۱۳۹۵، بین دو تیم « شاهین آسمایی» و « سیمرغ البرز» در ورزشگاه فدراسیون فوتبال افغانستان برگزار شد. شاهین آسمایی در این بازی کار بزرگی را انجام داد و با ثمر رساندن ۸ گل، شکست سنگینی را به سیمرغ وارد کرد.
شاهین آسمایی این بازی را با اطمینان از میزبانی خود، شروع کرد، به نظر می‌رسید که سیمرغ با ثمر رساندن گل اول در دقیقه ۶، شور و شوق زیادی برای پیروز شدن در این میدان دارد؛ منیر‌الحق ندیم، با این گل سیمرغ را پیش انداخت. این گل، روحیه این تیم را برای تلاش و حملات بیشتر، بالا برد. هر‌چند، شاهین ۲ دقیقه بعد ، با ثمر رساندن گل مساوی سیمرغ را با مشکل مواجه کرد. بعد از این گل، عمل‌کرد سیمرغ بسیار پایین آمد و شاهین تیمی بود که در ورزشگاه فدراسیون فوتبال افغانستان ابتکار عمل را به دست گرفت.

اشتهای شاهین با ۵ گل زده کم نشده بود و آنها در تلاش برای به ثمر رساندن گل‌های بیشتری بودند. رضا الله‌یاری، امر‌الدین شریفی، و سمیع‌الله محمدی در دقایق ۴۸، ۶۳، و ۷۳ ، به ترتیب ۳ گل دیگر را برای شاهین به ثمر رساندند تا نتیجه ۸-۱ بر تابلوی ورزشگاه ثبت شود.
بر اساس آمار بازی، شاهین در مقابل سیمرغ، ۶۲ درصد توپ و میدان را در اختیار داشت.
سیمرغ در بازی برگشت که روز یک‌شنبه، ۴ میزان ۱۳۹۵، برگزار میشود، میزبان شاهین است.
